Christine started with Overton Funeral Homes and Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories in 2003. She was raised in Waterloo. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science. In 2017, Christine pursued other ventures, but in 2020, returned to where she got her start and to the friends and neighbors she served for many years. Christine and her husband Greg are lifelong residents of Waterloo, and are members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. They have one child, Henry, who graduated from Columbus High School and will be attending the University of Iowa. She is very active in the community.
Shannon Frost has been with Overton Funeral Home and Parrot and Wood Chapel of Memories since April of 2022. Shannon is a lifelong resident of Cedar Falls and is a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church. Shannon graduated from the Mortuary Science Program at DMACC in 2023. Shannon and her husband Troy have four children, Jackson, Grace, Piper and Griffin. The three oldest are attending or have attended the University of Iowa, and Griffin attends CFHS. In her spare time Shannon runs a local volleyball club and loves spending time with her family, traveling, and spoiling her puppies, Minkah and Koda.
Sean Lokmer is originally from West Virginia. He moved to Iowa in 2008 during the flood. Sean graduated from DMACC with his degree in mortuary science and began his internship at Parrot and Wood in September 2024. Sean and his wife Trish are members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Hiawatha. They have two daughters Patricia and Anna. In addition to spending time with his family, Sean also enjoys cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates and West Virginia Mountaineers.
