Kim Rodney Johnson was born on March 19, 1958, in Waverly, Iowa, the son of Albert Wayne and Judy Mae (Jensen) Johnson. Kim loved life and lived it to the fullest. He faithfully spent 47 years in service as a mechanic at the Bill Colwell Ford garage.
His family was of the utmost importance to him. When he was not at work Kim enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. It was not uncommon for him to get down on the floor to play with the grandkids.
Kim was also a kind, generous individual who was always willing to help. Kim was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed chopping wood, fishing, and hunting pheasants.
In the final years of his life, Kim realized his need of Jesus and trusted in Him alone for salvation. While battling cancer his relationship with Christ and trust in Him grew more and more which was evident to the end.
Kim passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at his home in Traer, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father.
