Don Winter

Don C. Winter, 91, answered his call Home, to be with our Heavenly Father on February 16, 2024. He was born April 24, 1932, in Dysart, Iowa, to Thomas and Lennora Ford Winter. Don was born on April 24, 1932, in Dysart Iowa. He was the youngest of seven children blessed to be born to Thomas & Lennora Winter: inside their small home on Tilford Street. Don married Nancy Fink, prior to proudly serving his country as a weatherman in the USAF.  After the Korean Conflict, he & Nancy raised their family of three children.

 A longtime resident of Austin, Texas, Don was driven to Bella Vista, AR to ride out pandemic. He fell in love with all the things Bella Vista and decided to relocate permanently with family. Many days he would walk the trail at Cooper Chapel; his very favorite spot to meditate. Don was a true believer and served as a lay minister much of his life. He will be missed by many family and friends &extended family. "He set about doing good." Don is survived by his three loving children, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
