Colleen Fowler

Colleen Marie Fowler born September 14, 1963, passed into the kingdom of Heaven on Friday February 16^th, 2024, at 9:40 am after suffering a heart attack in Vinton at Virginia Gay Hospital. She was received into that kingdom where she met her father, Larry Glynn, step-father, Paul Matthiesen, step-father, John Thurston, and many other family members. She was survived by her husband, Timothy Fowler of Dysart, daughters, Jessica Garner (Chuck Garner) of Dysart, and Nicole Bruns (Derek Bruns) of Dysart, grandchildren, Alexis Garner, Owen Bruns, Brooklyn Bruns, and Everlee Bruns, mother, Marion Thurston of Dysart, brother, Mike Glynn of (Sarasota, Florida), sister, Michelle Arp of Dysart, and brother, Keith Matthiesen of Dysart, and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was a soft spoken, kindhearted, and giving soul who will be missed by many. She never complained and always helped those in need, and also left a positive impression on everyone she met. She loved spending time with her family above all else, loved riding her Harley Davidson with her husband, and going fishing in their new fishing boat. She always gushed about her grandkids and loved them fiercely. She will be missed by all who met her.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date along with a memorial motorcycle ride (weather pending) and will post on social media once arrangements have been made.
